الْعَالَمِينَ — Every World
Ibn Kathir: العالمين is the plural of عالَم — every realm of existence. Humans, jinn, angels, animals, plants, the seen and unseen. Not just 'the world' — every world, every dimension of creation.
👑
رَبّ — More Than Lord
Al-Sa'di: رَبّ contains three meanings — Creator, Owner, and the One who nurtures and sustains. Allah does not just create and leave — He sustains every moment of existence.

The First Words of Creation
Al-Sa'di: the first words spoken by Adam after Allah breathed life into him were الحمد لله. The first human utterance was praise of Allah — and so the Quran begins with it too.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ Not just 'thank you' — but recognition of who He is. All praise. Every world. One Lord.
